III Poznań ACT&CBS Conference, planned on May 28th-30th 2018 is yet another edition of an event focusing on Contextual Behavioral Science (CBS) in Poland , especially on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The organizers of this event are: Polish Chapter of Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS Polska) and the Institute of Clinical Psychology at Poznań University of Medical Science.
ACBS is dedicated to the alleviation of human suffering and the advancement of human well-being through research and practice grounded in contextual behavioral science.
This edition will concentrate on how modern behavioral science links interventions focused on body and psyche. It will be dedicated to scientists and professionals whose work is related to the fields of physical and mental health. The main intention of the organisers of this conference is to open the door between medical and psychological interventions to alleviate human suffering as well as to present practical implications of scientific research, so that every participant may develop his or her knowledge and skills.
The conference is thought to be of international character, open to active and passive participants from all around the world. This event also gives opportunity to make new social connections and to integrate international scientific, professional and student circles. It will be first scientific conference of this nature organised in Eastern Europe.

The conference will be preceded by day-long thematic workshops for professionals focusing among others on chronic pain psychosis and depression. The main event will last 2 days. There are also side events planned such as Follies and sightseeing the city of Poznań.
